Friendly Safety Reminder to the Residents of the Hanwell LSD |
|
October is around the corner and a friendly reminder to the residents of the Hanwell LSD to be additionally cautious of our spooky ghosts, goblins, and super heros on Halloween night.
The days are also getting shorter over the next few months so please watch for the children walking to/from and waiting at bus stops as well as normal courtesy of school buses on the Hwy640 and subdivision roads.. their cargo is priceless!
October also has two Astronomical events, Oct 1 is the fall Astronomy day and Oct 8 is the International Observe the Moon event. Although it is night remember that the light from the moon originates from the sun so be cautious of looking at the moon too long without proper equipment.
Event information may be found over the winter months at http://stars.hanwell.nb.ca/ and http://www.FrederictonAstronomy.ca
