Hanwell Recreation Park

The Hanwell Recreation Park is located at 18 Nature Park Drive next to the Community Recreation Centre (off the Hanwell Road across from the Eaglewood Subdivision).
The kiosk has a map of the walking/ski/snowshoe trails as well as guidelines for use.
Hanwell Recreation Park, located on leased Crown land, is open dawn to dusk for residents to enjoy. Please park in the Community Recreation Centre parking lot. Parking is not permitted along Nature Park Drive, as it is an active roadway.
Thanks to generous grants from the Province of New Brunswick, the rural community offers 30 sets of snowshoes and 23 sets of cross-country skis for residents to borrow free of charge. Equipment is available at the Municipal Office during business hours (Mon–Fri, 8 a.m.–4 p.m.) and must be returned by the next business day.
