Hanwell Recreation Park

Hanwell Recreation Park

Location: 18 Nature Park Drive, next to the Community Recreation Centre (off Hanwell Road, across from Eaglewood Subdivision).

Hanwell Recreation Park is located on leased Crown land and is open from dawn to dusk for residents to enjoy.

Please park in the Community Recreation Centre parking lot — parking is not permitted along Nature Park Drive, as it is an active roadway.

A kiosk at the park entrance displays a map of the walking, skiing, and snowshoe trails, along with trail-use guidelines. (Note: the map is currently being updated.)

Dogs in the Park

Council recognizes the social benefits of allowing dogs and their owners to enjoy Hanwell’s parks and trails. However, to ensure the safety and comfort of all residents, dogs must be leashed at all times in public spaces and on municipal property.
