Attention Residents:
Due to the lack of rainfall this summer, and with no significant rain in the forecast, we are asking all Hanwell residents to be mindful of water use.
Most households in Hanwell rely on well water, and with the ongoing dry conditions, groundwater levels are under stress. To help protect our water supply, please take steps to reduce water consumption where possible, such as:
• Limiting outdoor watering and lawn care
• Avoiding washing vehicles at home
• Running dishwashers and washing machines only with full loads
• Fixing any leaky taps or toilets promptly
By working together and conserving now, we can help ensure that our community’s wells remain reliable throughout the season.
